The Briefing is an evangelical periodical, published by Matthias Media from Sydney, Australia, to a worldwide audience.

Since 1988 The Briefing has been a means of regularly ‘briefing’ our readers—that is, encouraging and equipping each other to live fruitful lives as believers while we await the return of our Lord Jesus.

The Briefing comes out every two months as a digital magazine, in addition to its other e-book and print editions.

As a Briefing reader, what are you going to read in the alternate month? We’ve got that covered. Our Brief Books are longer than a single article, but shorter than a book: the kind of thing that was published as a pamphlet or booklet back in the day.

These titles will be drawn from a range of different material. For example, a Brief Book might be a standalone portion of a forthcoming Matthias Media title. Or a compilation of some Briefing archives on a specific topic. Or maybe an excellent article that was just too long for The Briefing itself. Have a quick look through whats already published to get an idea of what might be coming up. Whatever it is, rest assured it’ll be wonderfully useful and accessible stuff that nicely complements The Briefing.
